Versace Eros Eau de Parfum (EDP) for Men is an Amber Woody / Oriental Woody designer fragrance launched in 2020. Created by master perfumer Aurelien Guichard, it serves as a richer, darker, and more mature evolution of the legendary 2012 Eros Eau de Toilette (EDT).
Inspired by Greek mythology and named after the god of love, this flanker scales back the loud, sugary projection of the original EDT in exchange for massive longevity, smoother wood accords, and a highly seductive dry-down.

• Top Notes (The Opening): Mint Oil, Candied Apple, Italian Lemon, and Mandarin Orange. It opens with a vibrant, high-energy blast that is sweet yet refreshing.
• Heart Notes (The Core): Ambroxan (AmberMax®), Geranium Flower, and Clary Sage Essence. This stage creates a smooth, herbal, and slightly warm haze.
• Base Notes (The Dry-Down): Madagascar Vanilla, Atlas & Virginian Cedarwood, Vetiver Orpur®, Patchouli Coeur Orpur®, Sandalwood, and a smooth hint of Leather. The leather and dark woods balance out the vanilla, giving it a classy, sophisticated finish.
  
  
  Performance & Longevity
  • Longevity (How long it lasts): 8 to 12 hours. It has exceptional staying power on skin and easily lasts past 24 hours if sprayed on clothing.
  • Sillage & Projection: Moderate to Strong. Unlike the original EDT, which behaves like a loud "clubbing fragrance," the EDP projects a solid 1.5 to 2 feet during the first hour before settling into a dense, intimate 1-foot scent bubble that follows you everywhere.

    Best Seasons: Autumn, Winter, and Spring. The richness of the vanilla, amber, and leather cuts through freezing cold weather effortlessly. It can be worn on cooler summer nights, but is generally too heavy for high-heat daytime mid-summer.

    • Best Occasions: Perfect for date nights, evening parties, social outings, and cold-weather formal events. Its refined composition also makes it safe for office wear if applied lightly (2-3 sprays).
