Terre d'Hermes Parfum

Terre d'Hermès Parfum (often called Pure Parfum) is a richer, denser, and smoother reimagining of the original 2006 EDT masterpiece. Released in 2009 and also composed by master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, it dials back the sharp, airy, and mineralic edge of the original version to focus on a deeper, highly luxurious, and more intimate woody-citrus experience.

• Top Notes (The Opening): Grapefruit and Bitter Orange. Unlike the bright, sparkling splash in the EDT, the citrus here smells dense, rich, and more like an oil-heavy, mature orange peel.
• Heart Note (The Core): Shiso (Japanese Mint Leaf) and a softened element of Flint. Shiso adds a unique, radiant, and slightly green freshness that bridges the citrus to the heavy base.
• Base Notes (The Dry-Down): Enveloping Cedarwood, earthy Oakmoss, Benzoin, and warm Woody Notes. The inclusion of oakmoss gives it a classic, elegant "Chypre" character, while the benzoin injects a very subtle, resinous warmth into the background.
  
  
  Performance & Behaviour
  • Longevity (Staying Power): 8 to 10+ hours. Because of its high concentration of pure oils, it clings heavily to the skin and stays active significantly longer than the EDT.
  • Projection & Sillage: Moderate and Intimate. The Parfum does not throw a loud scent cloud across the room. Instead, it creates a heavy, rich, 1-foot personal scent bubble.
